Experience
I briefly tutored a elementary student when I was in high school. I tutored him in history. My ACT score was a 22. I want to be a tutor because I need a part time job, and I like helping people. In the subjects I want to teach I have taken many classes in each subject. For music, I have played the saxophone for almost ten years. Before that I had played the piano for many years. I have been a freshman mentor at my University for the past two years. In high school I was involved in the National Honor Society for three years. This group is a service group at my school for students who have achieved academically. The GPA limit for this group is 3.0 or higher. During high school I had earned multiple awards. Some of them include the Outstanding Leadership award, Outstanding Education Award, Outstanding Service Award, Extra Miler Award which is a service award in my community, and the John Philip Sousa award for band.
